Product description

PATENTED PRODUCT DKstAr is an innovative vitamin supplement specifically designed for the ophthalmological, gastroenterological and gynecological needs. DKstAr is a mixture of 3 very important vitamins with many well-known biological effects: Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2 and Vitamin A. Vitamin D is in its D3 form, the one most methabolized by the human body. Vitamin K is in the form of K2 which is the one with biological activity and which remains longer in the body and, for that reason, it is therefore more effective. OPHTHALMOLOGY - Vitamin D3 has important and recognized specific activities on the trophism of the retina; its implementation has been shown to contribute to an anti-inflammatory, antiangiogenic and immunomodulatory action. Several studies have demonstrated the link between low levels of Vitamin D and pathologies such as Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Diabetic Retinopathy and Myopia itself. Vitamin K2 shows a protective action on the vessels of the retina; this vitamin also prevents the accumulation of calcium in the internal walls of veins and arteries, helping to maintain the elasticity of the vessel walls; finally, it is responsible for regulating the coagulation processes.Vitamin A contributes to maintaining a physiological sensitivity of the retina to light. A correlation between low intake and Diabetic Retinopathy has also been observed for Vitamin A. GASTROENTEROLOGY – In some gastrointestinal pathologies there is a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory state, a condition that causes both an alteration of the microbiota and a situation of malabsorption which also affects fat-soluble vitamins such as E, D, A and K. On the intestinal district, Vitamin D has its receptors (VDR) thanks to which it can exert its immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory actions. These actions help on the protection of the homeostasis of the intestinal microbiota. A wellknown action of Vitamin A is to be the Vitamin D "Carrier" but thanks to its supply through food, the body can also benefit from it by exploiting its antioxidant properties, which are essential for keeping the mucous membranes healthy in all anatomical districts including the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract. GYNECOLOGY – Vitamin D through its receptors (VDR) also expressed at the level of the female genital system, in particular on the ovary and in the uterine wall, contributes to the correct functioning of the female reproductive system. It is demonstrated that during menopause and post-menopause the maintenance of adequate levels of Vitamin D (between 30ng/ml and 100ng/ml) helps to prevent the risk of osteoporosis. In support of this recommendation, it has been observed that between 65% and 75% of post-menopausal women show a Vitamin D deficiency. By mobilizing calcium from soft tissues and arteries, Vitamin K2 helps to redistribute it towards the bone tissue, in synergy with the action of Vitamin D, while helping to keep the vascular system healthy. Vitamin A through the constitution of a molecular complex, allows Vitamin D to penetrate its target cells and play its biological role such as: supporting ovarian function, increasing insulin sensitivity, promoting the Calcium absorption. Important warning Do not administer to pregnant women or fertile women who are not taking contraceptive precautions.
